We are pleased to introduce our new Argentine combined brasero (wood burning box) style barbecue grills, a culinary tradition admonished by backyard professional pit masters everywhere. The Argentine style of cooking allows the pit-master to control the heat from the glowing embers without the risk of overcooking. The charcoal / wood fire, fueled by woods that add flavor such as red oak, pecan, apple, cherry, hickory, are all masterfully combined with the amazing ability of Argentine style cooking by turning out truly awesome food.
The Argentine BBQ grills with brasero are heavy-duty in construction and made with 3/16" gauge steel by combining insulated side walls and fire brick, including the same heavy gauge material for the grill base floor. Our design offers a new standard for construction and heat dispensation that will offer a long-lasting product and hassle-free barbecuing.
Our Argentine brasero style grills feature ceramic fire brick that retain and distribute your cooking fires heat. Create your fire in the brasero, and as the embers fall onto the fire brick, spread the burning coals under the V-channel grates. Using the flywheel, raise and lower the grates to prepare your food with absolute control. Sunterra Outdoor and the BBQ Pit Boys Santa Maria Grilling systems are for the BBQ Grill Master that loves to cook and entertain on the Crème de la Crème in the Argentine style.
Sunterra Outdoors's mission is to manufacture precision crafted heavy-duty outdoor cooking equipment. Our products made with heavy gauge steel construction are fully loaded with many features. We apply a high temp wet paint with UV protection to all of our products that will resist heat up to 1200° F without fading or peeling.
Even with the premium metals and paint used, we urge everyone to keep Sunterra Outdoor, or any cooking product for that matter, protected. We encourage everyone to store their cooking equipment under an overhang and covered, or at least covered and not exposed directly to the elements. Like most companies producing similar products, our heavy-duty grates are not painted to avoid chemical contamination to the cooking area. We apply a rust inhibitor to the grates that will help to evaporate any remaining residue when you first fire your grill product. It is very important to season all grates and trays with a cooking type spray or oil before and after cooking great meals. Especially before your first use. Not only will seasoning help prevent rust, but will also make the cleaning process easier as well. Please refer to our BBQ Tips and Techniques section for instruction.
