Hey Sunterra, I was away this weekend and still have not run a seasoning burn in the new grill yet. I will do that in just a little bit. Once I had the cart built and all the drawers and grates out of the firebox I was able to lift it with my brother-in-law without a hitch. It was easy to finish it up on my own the next morning before we left for vacation. Now, I can say without hesitation that you need to tell your fabrication guys what a great job they did. From the engineering of each component to the way the crate was put together and each piece wrapped, the quality of craftsmanship is impeccable. Eve-ry edge is smooth and rounded, and has that great finish on it. I love the simplicity of the design; the small amount of required hard-ware, and the fact that as simple as it is to put together, it works!. I know I will be cook-ing on this grill for a long time to come. So, cheers to you and your team! You know what? After all this talk I am go-ing to season it right now! Anyways, much thanks again! Hi Sunterra, this is our current setup and as soon as the brick oven is add-ed we’ll send that over also. Just so you know, my husband has ditched the smoker and grill since the arrival of the Santa Maria. We have pretty much tried everything except for brisket. The tri-tip is my favorite, and the chicken and steaks are really good as well. I love the wood burning scent once it is lit up. It’s just much more pleasant and you get that outdoors feel, kind of like when you are camping! Thanks again for such a wonderful Santa Maria product!
Denali Smoker—1801 I was looking for a superior quality offset smoker that would last me a lifetime. I found that with the Denali. I absolutely love this smoker! It's so easy to maintain temperatures high or low. I've maintained temps as low as 130 degrees. I smoked and dehydrated beef jerky using a non stick frog mat placed on top of the grates. I've made summer sausage without any issues. Larger things like pork shoulder, chicken or brisket no problem! The heat is displaced so evenly from the firebox to the smoke stack. This smoker truly exceeded my expectations. You may worry about the shipping....Don't. It came built in-to a shipping crate that was incredibly stur-dy. The delivery driver told me he never saw one packaged so well. Probably the best thing I ever bought besides my truck! Hahaha John Chiartas, Sellarsville, PA

Smoker arrived today safe and sound in Maine. It's perfect ! Same delivery person, also delivered unit to Duck Fat restau-rant. Coincidence. What a beautiful product. I will greatly enjoy this. Already fired up for curing process (photo). My wife, Donna, trying to relate to this as much as me - working on vegetable ideas. I think it works with the garden? Working on convincing Donna. Thank you for helping me make the right choice and for your patience helping me do so with all your emails and phone calls. Please thank your workers for the great job they did making this smoker and packing it so safely for the trip to Maine. It will be greatly loved. You are on to me for my 4th of July plans. I’ve always wanted to learn how to smoke a perfect brisket. I start-ed out on a super cheap thing bought from Wal-Mart that I could only use charcoal with. I wanted something more, something better, and something that would allow me to smoke with wood, so the hunt began. I found a couple of smokers that were similar in size and shape, but very few were willing to take the time to pack-age up a 300 pound smoker and ship it from Texas to Colorado (Yes, us Coloradoans love smoked meat like they make down south). I began discussing my plans for the smoker with Gary, who provided the best customer support I’ve probably experienced in any indus-try, and he suggested both the Tacoma and ironically the Colorado. I ended up choosing the Colorado because it was the right size and price, and they even added a second thermometer to the smoker. I placed the order and received it in about a week and a half, which is pretty amazing considering the size and weight. I’ve used the smoker twice now and have loved the way it cooks the meat. Gary, I’m writing to give you guys an update on my new grill- first off, we love it! We’ve done mainly steaks and vegetables over the fire so far, but are slowly taking on new challenges, and it’s been a lot of fun. We recent-ly entertained almost 60 guests at our house for a 50th anniversary party, and cooked 30 lbs. of London Broil and what felt like another 10 lbs. of vegetables on the Santa Maria, while smoking two 15 lbs. turkeys in the egg alongside. The party was a huge success, and the grill got more questions and comments than the egg, by far! I have been looking for this kind of grill for the longest time but nothing was avail-able in Quebec. Lately, BBQ Quebec started distrib-uting them so I immediately placed an order. I must say I was impressed with the lever of service provided by Sunterra Outdoor. They accommodated my special request and were extremely generous of their time. Stellar customer ser-vice. As far as delivery goes, I got the unit as expected but found out that it was even better than I thought in terms of quality. This grill will last me a life time. I fell in love when I saw it and now that I am using it I am totally addicted. My only regret is to have waited so long before getting one. I thought that installing it would be an issue since I have a limited space but thanks to a well thought design I have been able to take it apart and reassem-ble within minutes.
